  • Recommended browsers for viewing the Warner PTO website

    The latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge are the recommended browsers for viewing the Warner PTO website. Use of a non-supported browser may cause issues with viewing pages and using the checkout and payment features.

  • Viewing the Warner PTO Direct website on a mobile device

    The Warner PTO website is compatible with most mobile devices such as cell phones and tablets.

Replacing Your PTO

  • How do I find the original part number on my mower PTO?

    The original mower PTO part number is usually found in your owner’s manual or by contacting the manufacturer’s dealer closest to you for mower model and serial number. If the product is Warner Electric, it will have a Warner Electric part number on a label located on back of the PTO itself, either laser etched onto the clutch housing or possibly a printed label affixed to the housing.

  • Is it really necessary to buy the factory original part?

    Warner Electric replacement PTO clutches are manufactured right here in the USA. Each PTO clutch is built according to the exact specifications required by the mower manufacturer, so you are getting the identical part that originally came with your mower. Third-party PTO providers often claim they provide superior quality to the original equipment, but these advertised advantages will not provide longer product life or enhanced features that justify replacing the original OEM part.

  • What is the best way to find my replacement parts on the Warner PTO Direct website?

    The search feature can be used to filter the Warner Electric products down to the exact part number.Use either the Warner Electric part number or the OEM designated number.

    Once you find the potential Warner Electric replacement PTO clutch, the product images, videos, technical specifications, and installation videos will help you confirm the correct part number.

  • My original PTO clutch was not manufactured by Warner Electric, can you still provide a replacement?

    The technical experts at Warner Electric can often find alternative solutions in situations where we did not make the original clutch. Product Search

  • Do I need to use the dash symbol when searching by part numbers?

    Warner Part numbers use 4 digits and a dash and remaining digits (example 5218-20 and not 521820).

  • Can I find a replacement part by searching on the Original Equipment part number?

    Yes, it is possible to search by manufacturer part number.

  • What if I don’t know the entire part number?

    If you do not have the entire Warner PTO part number, simply add the asterisk at the end of a Warner base part number. For example, searching on 5218* will display all part numbers starting with 5218.

Shopping Cart

  • Adding or removing items

    Click the Add to Cart button on a product page to add the item and required quantity to the shopping cart. The Buy Now button will also add the item to the shopping cart and will take you directly into the checkout and payment steps.

  • Saving your shopping cart

    Sometimes you may need additional time to build your online order. Use the save cart feature and give your shopping cart a name that will make sense to you later.

Checkout and Payment

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. If for some reason you are unable to pay online using one of these payment options, please contact our customer support at 888-274-3718 or submit email to warnerptodirect@altramotion.com. Please leave a detailed message with your contact information. Our customer service team will contact you as quickly as possible to complete your order.

  • Why do I have to validate my payment?

    After entering your payment information click the Validate Payment button. Validation is required in order to complete your order; however, please note you will not be charged until your order actually ships. Validation simply confirms your card information is correct and the card is active.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Can I get my order shipped to a PO box?

    We do not ship to PO boxes.

  • What are my shipping options?

    We offer free standard ground shipping to any location within the continental United States and charge a small fee for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Please see our Shipping Options page for more details.

  • What is UPS Next Day Air shipping and how does it work?

    For customers located in the continental United States, expedited shipping is the fastest way to receive your Warner PTO part once your order is ready for shipping. We use UPS Next Day Air service for expedited shipments, but please note that “next day” refers to the next business day, not the next calendar date. For example, if an order requesting expedited shipping is received on a Friday the shipment will be released to UPS the following Monday if the item is in stock.

  • Do you ship on weekends?

    No, we do not ship on weekends. If your order is received after 2pm Eastern Time on a Friday, your order will be shipped the following week if the item is in stock. This includes orders that request UPS Next Day shipping service.

  • Will I be able to track my shipment?

    When your order is ready for shipping our system will send a shipping notice with a link to track your shipment. Please note it may take several hours for the link to update after you receive the shipping email and the time needed to activate your tracking link may vary by shipping provider.

  • I never received a shipping email, can I still track my package?

    Occasionally customers may not receive a shipping notice with a delivery tracking number. To request a ship tracking number please send your name and Warner PTO web order number to our customer service mailbox at WarnerPTO@altramotion.com.

  • I ordered a PTO clutch with a lead time of 4 weeks with expedited shipping. Will I receive my PTO sooner than 4 weeks?

    Choosing UPS Next Day Air (expedited shipping) will not reduce the 4-week time needed to build the PTO clutch. Once the clutch is built and ready for shipping, UPS Next Day Air will deliver your order several days faster than normal ground shipping.

Returns and Exchanges

  • How do I return a product for a refund?

    All product returns must have prior authorization from Warner PTO Direct. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee that covers order administration, original packaging cost, inspection, testing, disassembly, restocking and handling.

  • I ordered the wrong part number - can I exchange it for the correct part?

    No, customers who order the wrong part number can return the item for credit, however you will need to follow our process for product returns and your order will be subject to a 20% restocking fee that covers order administration, original packaging cost, inspection, testing, disassembly, restocking and handling. Based on our inspection we will issue the credit minus the restocking fee and no credit for shipping costs.

    To reduce the risk of having to return an item, please see the notes in the Replacing Your PTO section for help on identifying the correct replacement part for your mower. Please refer to the OEM or Warner Electric part number for the most accurate replacement.

Online Account Management

  • Passwords

    Your online account is password-protected. In the event you forgot or need to reset your password, click the ‘forgot password’ link on the account sign-in page. A confirmation email will be sent to your primary email address with additional instructions. Follow the steps provided to complete the password reset process.

  • Shipping Addresses

    To make checkout quicker and reduce the chance of mistakes, you can store multiple shipping addresses in your Warner PTO Direct online account. When checking out, just select the shipping address you want from the drop-down address list. Please note you must be logged into your account in order to see your saved shipping addresses during checkout.
